A Washington farm built on discipline.

We started Hoplite Farm to bring craft agricultural discipline to gourmet mushroom cultivation. Too much of the industry reads as hobbyist novelty or supplement marketing. We chose a different lane: a small Pacific Northwest farm that grows consistent, high-quality product and teaches the craft alongside it.

Everything we ship — fruiting blocks, spawn, sterile substrate — is made in our Washington facility with tight controls on genetics, substrate composition, and cold chain. We currently focus distribution across the West Coast because long-distance transit degrades a living product.

Alongside the farm, we're building a public library: species profiles, growing guides, and recipes designed to make you a better cultivator and cook. Sign in once inventory opens and you'll be able to save favorites, comment on recipes, and contribute your own.
